A message from the Doric String Quartet
Here is the latest instalment in our live-stream life! This one sees us in a slightly different guise as orchestral directors. This evening (Friday 30th April) at 18.30 UK time (19.30 EU time) we will be performing Beethoven's 7th Symphony in a performance live from the Royal Academy of Music, where we are all professors. We have spent the past week rehearsing this piece with students from the Academy as part of our annual orchestral project where we work with 1st year undergraduate string students and wind and brass students ranging from 3rd year undergraduates to masters students. We will begin the concert with Schubert's Quartettsatz.
