The village of Saint-Jean-du-Doigt in the Finistère departement of Brittany, where Satirino is based, organises a Fête du Violon every year with the help and artistic direction of the violinist Christian Lemaître who this year has invited the rising start of the Irish violin, Mairéad Hickey.
