Marc Coppey & Claire-Marie Le Guay are at last able to give their recital at the Théâtre de Sens, their November 2020 having been postponed.
Their programme (no interval) consists of Beethoven's cello sonata No 3 in A Major, Opus 69, a delightful group of pieces by Fauré - Élégie, opus 24 (1880), Romance, opus 69 (1894) & Papillons, opus 77 (1884) as well as Brahms's first cello sonata (opus 38), the programme being presented under the title Beethoven et ses héritiers romantiques.
