The Actus humanus Nativitas festival in Gdansk and the town of Amilly have invited the Ensemble Clément Janequin to give the first performances of their Renaissance Christmas programme Hodie Christus natus est, in which Palestrina's eponymous Christmas mass is alternated with contrafactum songs by Sermizy, du Courroy and Christianus de Hollande, and chansons spirituelles by Goudimel.
