The Ensemble Clément Janequin present their "Papegots et Huguenots" programme at the Musée de l'armée in Paris on 5th June, part of a series of five concerts on the theme of « L’Homme et le Sacré », from the Renaissance to the present day, including a commission by Marc-Olivier Dupin, and which strives to revive the musical expression of the controverses and conflits in a joust in which the Catholics steel the Protestant's psalms, whilst in the opposite camp the protestants parody the popular chansons of day.
