The Ensemble Clément Janequin at last returns to the Festival de La Chaise Dieu with a secular programme in the cloitsters and a sacred programme in the Eglise Saint-André in Lavaudieu, juxtaposing the secular and sacred works of Clément Janequin and Claudin de Sermizy with "La Bataille" and "L’Aveuglé Dieu", two chansons that are also the titles of the only two extant masses by Janequin and which form the backbone of the sacred programme devoted to the virgin Mary and Jesus. 7 pm and 9 pm in the cloister and church of the Abbaye Saint-André in Lavaudieu.
