Ferenc Vizi returns to the Théâtre de la Ville with Beethoven's rarely performed but singularly intense Diabelli Variations. This recital will also be a stirring homage to his recently deceased teacher, Gérard Frémy, who first introduced these masterly variations which remain, in Ferenc's own words, "one of those musical 'romans-fleuve' that progress slowly within oneself, shaping ones existence, giving one an incomparable opportunity to grow each time one performs them."
