The pianist Ferenc Vizi presents his recent reecording of Beethoven's Diabelli Variations at the Goethe Institute in Paris. He has dedicated this recording to his teacher Gérard Frémy, recently deceased, and who first introduced Ferenc to the work which remains for him a kind of musical 'roman fleuve', evolving with each performance, a constantly renewed revelation of his own musical development. Ferenc completes the programme with Handel's superb Chaconne in G, HWV 435.
