The six recorder players of Mezzaluna and star lutenist Paul O’Dette reconstruct a concert evening such as the Tudor monarchs Henry VIII, Edward VI or Elizabeth I might have experienced. In their private apartments they could hear consort and lute music by court composers such as Philip Van Wilder, both Ferraboscos, Daniel Bacheler and Augustine Bassano. To these Mezzaluna adds works from the Fitzwilliam Wind Manuscript. Tivoli Vredenburg Hertz, 22.30
