During the Marie de Roumanie, Queen and artist exhibition at the Palais du Tau in Reims, Radu Bitica, violin, and Ferenc Vizi, piano, take us on a journey into their Romanian gypsy roots with a recital programme under the title of Danubiana, a colourful and powerful musical landscape, both classical and popular, on the banks of Europe's greatest river, the very soul of Eastern Europe. Enescu, Constantinescu, Bartók, Diko Iliev, Dohnányi, Janáček, Liszt, Georges Boulanger, Dvořák / Kreisler, Johann Strauss / Schulz-Evler and Brahms. A truly fascinating journey!
