The Ensemble Clément Janequin gives a concert at the Chapelle du Méjan in Arles in the 34th Semaine Sainte en Arles with their lavish Jean Mouton programme under the title of “Vivat Rex et Regina, Jean Mouton 1459-1522, Cantor to the Monarchs of his time ”, a homage to this immense but relatively unknown composer who served in turn Anne de Bretagne, Louis XII and François Ier.
With Anaïs Bertrand, mezzo-soprano, Dominique Visse, countertenor, Hugues Primard & Martial Pauliat, tenor, Vincent Bouchot & Igor Bouin, baritone, Marc Busnel & Renaud Delaigue, bass, and Yoann Moulin, organ.
